Can we bring our dog?

While we love a good pup, pets are not permitted in the parks during special events. Doesn't mean you can sneak some treat home for them.

Is this event free?

No, it's not free. Admission to the event just $5 (kids under 12 are free) so it is affordable for the whole family. The rest is up to you. Food will be available for purchase at all the vendors.

Enjoy $1 off admission when you ride your bike to the event and park at the free bike valet area. Special thanks to Ride Solutions and Greater Lynchburg Offroad Cyclists.

*FREE admission for all active military and veterans with military ID in honor of National Armed Forces Day.

How does the food thing work?

Great question! Each vendor will be providing a sampling of their menu items in a small portion sizes between $1-3. We want you to be able to try as much as your heart desires. Full menu items will still be available. You pay for the food at each vendor.

Will there be beer?

Uh, yeah. There will not only be beer but there will be some of the BEST craft beer from our region. 9 breweries, 22 different kinds of beer. You can buy beer/cider by the pint for $5 each, or you can buy a beer tasting bracelet for $7 and get 7 tastings.

Did we mention that Virginia Distillery will be there serving samples of their whisky as well? For you wine enthusiasts, Devault Family Vineyard will be there serving up some fresh Virginia wines!

What's the admission fee for and what does it get me?

The $5 general admission gives you access to this all day event featuring nearly 50 of the best food and drink vendors of the region in ONE spot.  Food and beer sold separately. Live music entertainment and fun for the whole family.

Where does my money go?

This event is a fundraiser for the Downtown Lynchburg Association. All proceeds from the gate and the bar are to support downtown projects and programs to better our beautiful downtown area and keep it vibrant and thriving.

Who is the Downtown Lynchburg Association?

Downtown Lynchburg Association (formerly Lynch’s Landing Foundation)  a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and an accredited program of the Virginia Main Street and the National Main Street Center™, a subsidiary of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. For more than two decades, the organization and the City of Lynchburg have worked together to sustain and develop downtown as a vital economic, cultural, recreational, residential, and historic center for our community.

Through marketing initiatives, public space improvements, business engagement programs, cultural events, and more, we have and will continue to contribute to the establishment of a strong and vibrant downtown district.

As an organization, we are well positioned to tackle new and recurring challenges to developing Downtown Lynchburg. Lynch’s Landing will continue to be the voice and ambassador for downtown Lynchburg, promoting the cultural resources and business community of downtown.

Our staff, committees and volunteers center our work around our adopted vision and mission.
